The Ford Escape is mighty compact crossover SUV! The exterior of the Escape is fresh thanks to a total redesign last year. You'll notice a prominent hexagonal grille and an overall edgier design that makes this one good looking SUV. Plus there are two new exterior colors for the 2018 model year: Cinnamon Glaze and Blue Metallic. Inside the Escape, you'll find a sophisticated cabin with room for five passengers. S

The entry-level S model starts off with features like a USB port, a CD player, a six-speaker sound system, Bluetooth connectivity, AppLink smartphone integration, the Sync tech interface, a rearview camera, and a 4.2-inch central display. As well as a folding and reclining rear seat with 60/40 split, a height-adjustable driver seat, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, air-conditioning, cruise control, MyKey parental controls, automatic headlights, and 17-inch wheels. This model comes powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that creates 168 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with an automatic six-speed transmission and front wheel drive.

SE

The SE model adds features like satellite radio, a rear center armrest, upgraded cloth upholstery, heated front seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat, rear air vents, steering wheel mounted paddle shifters, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear privacy glass, a keyless entry keypad, fog lights, roof rails, sound-reducing window glass, and chrome exterior trim. This model is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine that produces 179 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. There a few option packages offered for this trim level too! The Sport Appearance package adds a leather-wrapped shift-knob and steering wheel, partial leather upholstery, paddle shifters, LED daytime running lights, black-painted exterior trim, and 19-inch wheels. The Sync 3 package adds dual USB ports, a nine-speaker sound system, Sync Connect, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enhanced voice controls, and an 8-inch touchscreen. Stand-alone trims include a tow package, a navigation system, roof rail crossbars, and a panoramic sunroof.

SEL

The SEL comes with all the standard equipment from the SE model and adds the Sync 3 tech interface, rear parking sensors, power adjustable side mirrors with heating, leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel, and a power liftgate. Stand-alone features available for this trim include all of the options for the SE trim and 18-inch wheels.

Titanium

The Titanium trim comes with all the features for them the SEL trim and adds an automated parallel and perpendicular parking feature, front and rear parking sensors, a 10-speaker Sony sound system, a navigation system, a 12-volt power outlet, a 110-volt power outlet, driver-seat memory settings, 10-way power-adjustable and heated front seats, and xenon headlights. As well as an auto-dimming rearview mirror, ambient interior lighting, remote start, keyless entry and ignition, a hands-free power liftgate, and 18-inch wheels. Stand-alone options for this trim include a tow package with a max of 3,500 pounds and 19-inch wheels.

Available on the SE, SEL, and Titanium models is a Safe and Smart package. This package adds features like automatic wipers, lane departure warning and intervention, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.
