Trim Levels of the 2018 Ford F-150

The Ford F-150 has picked up some major changes for the 2018 model year. This truck is perfect for anyone looking to get some extra power and capability. With the F-150 you get some amazing perks like 22 miles per gallon combined fuel economy, a 10,800 pound towing capacity, and a Pro Trailer Backup Assist system. Altogether, this truck has hundreds of different configuration possibilities. Don't let that scare you though. With just six easy trim levels, this truck can be easy to navigate for choices and still come out on top with a fully customized vehicle.

 

Base XL Trim:

The trims start off with the basic base XL trim. This trim comes with all the standard equipment including a cloth-upholstered folding front bench seat, 17-inch steel wheels, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, front tow hooks, vinyl flooring, automatic headlights, pre-wired trailer connection, air conditioning, a driver information display, an auxiliary jack, and a four-speaker stereo. Additional features can be added with the 101A package as well as a few standalone features like remote vehicle tracking, chrome or sport appearance styles, and a spray-in or drop-in bed liner.

 

XLT Trim:

This second trim, the XLT, comes with features like chrome exterior trim and bumpers, rear privacy glass, foglights, a keypad entry system, additional interior storage bins and pockets, lumbar seat adjustments, and alloy wheels. In addition, the XLT can add a mid 301A package for heated mirrors, a cargo management system, leather-wrapped steering wheels, rear under-seat storage, a seven-speaker sound system, an auto-dimming mirror, and a trailer hitch. You can also add a luxury 302A package for remote ignition, an 8-inch touchscreen, heated front seats, rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, side steps, a sunroof, and more.

 

Lariat Trim:

This third trim comes with dual-zone automatic climate control, 18-inch wheels, keyless entry and ignition, leather upholstery, power-adjustable pedals, memory settings for the driver seat, ambient lighting, and ventilated seating. Multiple additional packages are available at this trim level as well. King Ranch Trim: The King Ranch trim comes standard with the Luxury 502A package as well as a Western-style theme, some added luxury equipment, and a new engine.

 

Platinum Trim:

The Platinum trim builds off the King Ranch with added luxury in wood and aluminum interior trim. It also adds 20-inch wheels and power-deployable running boards.

 

Limited Trim:

This Limited trim takes the F-150 to the next level with 22-inch wheels, upgraded leather upholstery, and unique styling details.

 

Raptor Trim:

The final trim is the base off-roader. The Raptor trim comes with a focus for the trails. With this trim you will have skid plates, 17-inch off-road tires, special interior trim, leather upholstery, flared fenders, a special four-wheel drive system, a reinforced frame, a modified long-travel suspension, bead-lock capable wheels, and a Torsen limited-slip front differential.
